mike2153 Posted August 18, 2014 Share Posted August 18, 2014 Hi guys so basically now I've had my ultegra lock up when hooked up to some nice kings. Basicay what happens is the reel runs nice and smooth when your not hooked to a fish and works completely as it should. Then when you hook the handle becomes 'locked up' and you have to try and turn the handle really hard for it to start turning. Once turning it seems to be ok. It doesn't make any funny bearing noises or anything and when the fish runs I'm pretty sure it sounds ok it's hard to tell as your not always thinking really clear when your hooked up to a nice fish.
