Spykey
Went to Maroubra Beach this morning and fished infront of the surf club. Got 3 undersized fish.. one of them was a small flattie and not sure what the other 2 was.. can someone look at the photo and tell me what it is? By the way, I was using a cheap ebay 11g 50mm vibe. Spykey
They were all undersized.. I am just guessing here as it doesn't appear in my NSW fishing guide. So didn't take any home! Edited April 18, 2014 by Spykey
UnderFisher
I was going to head down this morning too, but sleeping in seemed more attractive! I thought there might be some salmon moving in. There's a massive gutter in front of the lifeguard office running north pretty hard. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I dunno much given I am still newbie What will you usually used to get these salmons out? I usually use soft plastics, vibe, blades.. There was another fisho there and he hooked something that took all his line away leaving his spool empty I am assuming that should be a huge fish given he was fishing with a 6000 reel and 50lb line. He told be on tuesday he had a huge kingfish. Below are my lures: I am planning to get this to target some salmon: Edited April 19, 2014 by Spykey

Also Need to keep the handle tight, so no room for sand to get in.. Thanks mate!

You can catch them on soft plastics, but it's a lot of effort to constantly cast and retrieve on the beach. Try south maroubra too, there's an express rip along the rocks that holds fish. If that guy had 50 pound line on, I reckon he had a stingray or sharkSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Spykey
Went again today, sea was too rough, spend hour and a half and went home... there was other 3 people fishing who went home as well.. By the way, that is the best tide & swell to fish at maroubra? Thinking tomorrow morning low tide and swell is about 1.2m..
