Howdoweplaythis Posted April 21, 2014 Share Posted April 21, 2014 Took a hire boat out of Rose Bay and kept it nice and simple. Just cubing pillies and berleying up. Have become a massive fan of circle hooks. I fished one rod with circle hooks in the holder and another in my hand. Circles made things very convenient! All fish caught on pillies. I had a kingfish follow the trevally up. Flicked a white flickbait around but no luck. Yet to get into my first pelagic. Would love a nice bonito or king! A good day none the less. Yowie Posted April 23, 2014 Share Posted April 23, 2014 Good feed of fish there. 2 weeks ago in Port Hacking, I was pulling up a trevally about legal size on the yellowtail line, a fair bit of fight down deep.
