antonywardle
Area Central Coast Location Koolewong Access: Quite easy to get in to if you are heading south. If you are heading north then you have to cross in front of the traffic. No a big deal but something to be aware of. There is a lot of spaces for car/trailer parking. Ramp Condition: The entrance to the ramps are a bit rough and corrugated but the ramp itself is quite reasonable. The ramp is quite narrow, with both ramp one and ramp two only able to take one boat at a time. I actually found this easier to reverse into. We were able to get the boat launched without getting wet. Seems to be reasonably deep as there a few keel boats in there. Boat ramp one and ramp two are about the same. The pontoon isn't a floating one so I guess make allowances when you tie up. Not sure about wind, it was a nice day when I was there. antonywardle
extra thing I discovered. When the tide is really high, the wharf goes under! Makes tying up and getting back in a real challenge
DrownNprawns
that ramp is always choked up with weed and I have had to tow a f250 2 wheel drive with a 5 - 6 mtr boat on the back out of that ramp. it does have deep water. And yes we have seen the dolphin around Brissy Waters one of them swam around the bow of my boat for about 20 mins last year amazing
