Swifty13
Anyone using these? Always get the shits with the esky in the way in the boat whereas these could get thrown anywhere, up in cabin or under v berth, bendable and squashable to get them out of the cockpit. How well do they keep Ice? Are there other brands around? The ****************** are designed to store your fish catch in a hygienic environment ensuring fresher, long lasting fish. boattart
They are great. I have a different brand from before that model was out. It's just a straight envelope style and holds fish and ice well but doesn't sit upright on the deck like the one you've shown. I suggest if you do get one you freeze a couple of 600ml or 1.25lt soft drink bottles as well as they will help decrease the temp and prolong your ice. There are a couple of different brands but I don't think there is much between them and more a case of picking which size fits your needs. NaClH2OK9
I went 1m stows under the boat seat until required. Fitted a 1.2 gummy in no worries. With tuna you could take the head off if required.
Swifty13
rarely fish for tuna from my boat and if I was and got 1 over a meter id be racing to shore to show it off! mostly will be used for snapper, flatties and kings.. Thanks
Nolongeramember
They are a good idea to have on board for a really big fish, otherwise I prefer a normal cooler. I wouldn't mind the Midi+ but they're kind of pricey at $220. Even if it was half that at $110 I wouldn't be racing out to get one.
chocolate
Ok don't laugh but a motor trimmer i know made me one out of the same material as the punching bags , It has a big zipper on it and about 1.3 meters long x 400 round, so with ice awesome and cheaper than the major brands. I wont laugh about that but I do know someone that before they were widely available had a body bag from the morgue.

Danieljc
I've got the 1m bag works great with a couple of ice bags or normally I just run 5 x 3l bottles frozen and then when the fish come on board I half fill the bag with sea water. Keeps the fish cool and fresh and gives plenty of time to sort them out at home.Bag's clean down easily and is easily stored on the boat under seats or at home folded up. Well worth the purchase.
