rubberman Posted January 14, 2015 Share Posted January 14, 2015 gidday fishos I am a luderick fisherman I have used weed flies in the past with some success the problem is I find the flies I buy are a bit too short so I am going to have a go at tying my own is there some dubbing ( I think that's what its called ) that would hang about two inches from the hook thanks for any help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ocean Addiction Posted January 15, 2015 Share Posted January 15, 2015 Hi Broometime, I use Ice Dubbing which is available in a range of different greens for weed flies. 2 inches below the hook bend might be a stretch though as it is pretty curly stuff...
