Leaving from sydney, and taking three weeks round trip where do you think the best places to stop to fish and fish? First stop will be bermagui to hopefully fish the shelf and Montague island. Eden? big Neil Posted July 27, 2015 Share Posted July 27, 2015 Port Welshpool in Gippsland is fantastic at that time of year. Good protected waters in Corner Inlet and easy to get outside. Tons of good flatties and Snapper whenever we fished there. Hastings is well worth a try (Melbourne area), but good fishing in Port Phillip area if you can find someone who knows where they're biting. Apollo Bay is worth a try too.
