AFTER A DISCUSSION WITH A FISHERIES OFFICER TODAY ON THE HAWKSBURY THEY HAV SAID ELECTRIC REELS WILL BE BANED AS OF THE FIRST JAN 2012
HAS ANYONE HEARD THE SAME APARENTLY THIS MOTION WENT THROUGH THE BOARD LAST WEDNESDAY NIGHT

Some people say "its not traditional recreational fishing using electric reels".

What about GPS's,Sounders,etc..
Maybe we should give fishing all away.

HaHa we might have to use oars to get to and from our fishing spots soon.
I personally don,t see a ban on electric reels sticking :1fishing1:

What can they do about it and how else are we supposed to fish 400m to 600m down? there is a bag limit on what we can catch, does any one know why they are doing this?

They can do heaps. How did they do it before electric reels. Use your arms and a tag team.
