Hi Kyle, I had a dig around the website as well and did find this https://www.dinga.com.au/abu-revo-4x-and-s-baitcast-reels-with-free-rods.html but I don't know if these reels/rods will suit your needs. Remember you can also get 5% off as well. cheers Richard

Glad it also happens to the professionals!!
  5. Hawkesbury help! - Brooklyn

If you haven't been fishing in awhile, I'd stick to bait like chicken thigh
  6. Multicolor braid vs 1 color braid

I fish plastics from shore and I prefer bright colours as it's easier to tell when you're jigs on the bottom and detecting small bites. And it's my understanding that multicolour is for offshore depth check and also it only seems to be available in 20lb and up which limits it's shore uses. Rich
  7. After some Leatherjacket tips

Make sure you use a small hook preferably a long shank in about 8 or 10 size. use a paternoster rig to double your baits Richard
  8. What do you like about fishraider?

We have soft plastic instruction days sometimes. I'm still blaming the one I went to for getting me hooked on them!!
  9. I'd leave it to the experts at Shimano http://www.shimanofish.com.au/customer-service/service-centre.html
  10. Attaching a SP or HB

If your new to using lures, I'd suggest you target flathead first as I found them far easier to catch with SPs than bream.
  11. SP's DO WORK!!

Great catch, you'll never forget your first
  12. Successful Flathead on SP

One thing, I prefer to engage my reel after the cast when line stops peeling off and the jighead is on the bottom. If you engage the reel as soon as the lure hits the water, you decrease the effective distance of you cast. But then again each to his own. Some great tips there. richard

  18. Spinning Reel and Rod - Buying

Braids a lot thinner than the equivalent strength in mono, so you can fit a lot more on the reel, but braid doesn't have much abrasion resistance compared to mono. With braid you'll be able to cast much further than mono. that's all i can think of off the top of my head
