Recommended Posts

Location: Georges River National Park opposite Alfords Point bridge

Condition: excellent triple lane ramp with sand , pontoon/jetty available.

Parking: Loads of parking, however as it is a national park a fee must be paid Current fee $7 for parking (parking meter coins only). Does get crowded on sundays with skiers. Ramp gates close at night.

This Ramp and area has just undergone some work

if you have not been there in a while you will not know it.

the entrance now has a roundabout for easy turning whilst using the area

to access the ramp area and parking use the left hand lower road as you used to use

it is now 2 way

to access the park it,s self used the right side upper road which is also 2 way

the ramp area has been improved with the addition of more ramp to a 3 lane but the 2 nd ramp has been removed .this area is one way only and has a bay to drive in the back the car into the ramp.

see pics below
