Soft floor repairs

Anyone out there that repairs soft boat floors, its a split floor with a kill tank on a cruise craft, bout time i did mine .

No takers. Might as well do it myself.

With a little help from a good mate.

I feel sorry for those that make a living doing this stuff.

Lucky for me the stringers are in great condition otherwise they would been ripped out as well.

what I found was old Masonite cardboard as a floor with lots of glass sheets on top.

Apparently its what cruise craft used to form the floor and the the extra glass to strengthen everything up, that was the old way, not sure how they do them now.

my boat is a 1986 model so it was an eye opener it lasted this long and still going strong.

I didnt keep taking to many photos and will post up a couple more .

What did you use to waterproof the plywood under the carpet?
