  1. Blue swimmer crabs and blue swimmers Blue swimmer crabs are fun to catch and lovely to eat. Blue swimmer crabs are one of my favorite foods and plentiful in Pittwater and the Hawkesbury river during the warmer months. Crabbing and catching a few Blue swimmer crabs is a very relaxing way to spend a morning and well worth the effort. Here are a few of my tips which may add to your catch of crabs. 2. Bream Fishing Broken Bay is a great area to fish for bream. The amount of water travelling through this area ensures a constant supply of food, prawns, small fish and crustaceans of different types for the bream to feed on. Where to fish for bream is dictated mainly by the stage of the tide and at times a couple of changes of location may be needed as the water movement increases / decreases. The bream tend to move around a bit so they are in prime feeding locations. The only real way of knowing when and where the bream will be to be comes from experience and the methods you choose to use

  9. I was just after a bit of feedback on the current favourites for a bit of SP fishing. I am used to using Fireline 4lb but after being out of the fishing circle for a couple years I was not sure if anything had come along to replace it. The Fireline Crystal looked interesting ? Thoughts anyone ?

  12. It hasn't been mentioned here yet but fishing particularly game fishing can cause some very major pain in the wallet that can take months even years to overcome.
