  2. hello all, as the title suggests I need help with some directions for fishing port.. I am taking the family up late next week and bringing my tinny with us. im looking for somewhere to pump some yabbies' in the river and a landbased blackfish spot around the entrance to the river.. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance..Stephen..

  8. I just use 6lb Schneider off the rocks. cheap and does the job no problems.. if the knot breaks it only my fault.lol
  9. plus it already has those ribs in it next to the seat so I think it should be ok..my boat has two bench seats with ribs in the middle and it hasn't collapsed it on its self yet..
  10. in an old fishing book I have they cut away the middle seat and had some wide trays/ reinforcing placed down the side of the boat..

  15. I had the same sort of problem with my 15hp Yamaha. it turned out to be the propeller bush. which is a rubber grommet type thing that holds the prop onto the shaft. a new prop did the trick.. got mine from solas. hope this helps..

  19. that rubber should be fine. but prob check with a windscreen fitter first.. you will still have to seal the rubber after you lock it together.. be aware that there are different sized rubbers for thicker and thiner glass/Perspex and fiberglass.. ie bigger and smaller openings and the main point is to check the spacing in between the glass and fiberglass panel..

  23. I made one of the traps last year and made a fair dent their population, with about 25 birds gone.. the best catch was 4 birds at once..
  24. well done, the best fishing ive had is from the woodport inn up.. if you can fish unweighted plastics around there you should get a few nice bream(people feed them chips from the pub)..
