Great report, Great photos, I have to say I'm a little jealous

It's great to see the lake full again it's been over 11 years since water has run over the spillway. You wouldn't believe the amount of traffic on the road to the dam on sunday. You couldn't get a park at the viewing area near the spillway. I fished there both sunday and tuesday for nill result. but I think when the water settles down in the next couple of weeks the fishing should be awesome. Brad

I was up at windamere on Saturday (didn't get to fish) but talking to the caretaker at the caravan park they have been catching plenty of yellas on Jackal TN60s and there imitations. Water level is very low but still OK if you take it easy. Good luck and let us know how you go.

If you cant find them big enough just join a couple together end to end

The power station is still running strong - I was there today. There is still good access to lake lyell at the moment I had the boat in there yesterday. I wish I could give you some advice on fishing there but I have had very limited success. I have caught a couple of rainbows using powerbait and Gulp rainbow minnows.
