is it safe to eat it from those areas?

Hi all, havent posted for a while...cause i havent been fishing! inspired by a youtube video of some rock fisherman using the good ol aussie Alvey i went and purchased a graphite model reel and caught me first fish on it. Only a smallish dart.. hoping to catch some whiting as the water warms up a tad more... any suggestions on a 2 piece rod for alvey reels? i have it on a 12 footer but i need something more lighter, sensative and piece... check this video out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R51DZEI54fY

Hey Raiders, Just a quick one to report on a late Sundie Session in Sydney Harbour. Bait: Nippers Location: Sydney Harbour Weather: Clear, no wind Water: Light Current picked up on the run out Time Fished: 4:30PM - 10 PM Fished Caught: 1 Whiting (38cm), 6 Bream (smallest was 700g), 1 sapper (throwback) one starfish Fishing was consistant, no periods where it died off but we'd pick up one every 20 mins or so... great session to spend with the old man... enjoy the picks,,, happy to give out more info upon request. sounds like youve done well... sydney beaches fish really well in the summer... ive never tried in the winter wouldnt know where to target!
