thanks whats the best tide to fish for jewfish whats the average sizes u get down there? as i know big tides for beach fishing is good for jewfish but i wouldn't have a clue for wharf fishing cheers!

hey guys went out for a short session with a mate yesterday , our destination was to head to whale beach and fish off the rocks on the left on side and armed with pillies . But as we got there the wind was blowing us away and the swell was crazy . but we decided to give it a go anyways . after 4hrs went past and we haven't caught anything at all . we decided to call it a day due to the wind and we haven't caught zip all. but in the end it was a good day out sunny and all besides the wind. btw have anyone fished off whale beach , or off the rocks . and what spices do you normally get down there . cheers
