I went down to go fish today and got myself some braid, i got given all the right info on how to fit it to my reel and that but buy the time i finished work and got home i had forgotton what they said. If any onr can help me out and let me know how to fit braid to my reel and how to attach my leader that would be great. Thanks. Luke.

I was going to go fishing around the flint and steel west head areas, but the rappup of what you guys told me is not the best. Is there any spots around at the moment that are producing fish? I am looking for either land based or spots not to far from a boat ramp( the 5 horse does go very far in a hurry!) any help is greatly appreciated.

I am looking at going down here and was wondering how the fishing is going in this area of the country at the moment?

I always put the boat in at berowra and usualy fish around calabash creek or down croslands creek, the tinny only has a 5 horse on it(i want a bigger motor,its to small) So with a full boat it takes forever to get anywhere. I am just looking for some other 'proven' spots to try out that are hopefully close to home.

G'day all, i am looking at going out to the lake for a fshing trip and was wondering what sort of tackle will be good to use. G'day, this is my first post on this site so i hope i have posted this in the right place! I went fishing on the weekend at camp cove, under the spit brigde an at narrabeen lake and didn't get a bite! I was using squid, pillies and prawns and had absolutely no luck. I have also been fishing around berowra lately and the only thing i can catch is small tailor and and small whiting! i don't know what i am doing wrong. Is any body else having the same problem? On a lighter note i am looking at planning a fising trip to lake lyell, i don't have much knowledge of fresh water fishing or the lake i self. If anyone can help me out with some info it would be much appreciated! Thanks. Luke.
