there still a lot of realy good buys on there i you know what top shelf jap gear you want ,had to go out last night ,i was chasing a shimano kissu specal 405 cx casting rod in mint con i stoped at 228 us dollars it went 232 us dollars ,this sells for over 2300 australian dollars as a built rod or the blank alone sells over 1500 australian dollars .there is a ryobi boron proskyer ja 405 /45 strip ( blank)brand new sitting at 600 dollars with no bids and 3 hours to .this rod blank is worth more than the kissu specail ,most cant handel the recovery power in the cast .its so quick ,

this time of year when the wind blows from the west you better fishing squirt worms ,take pump and blow them out of the sand at low tide then fish the run up with the wind and tide at your back ,you will get the better fish on squirt worms .you dont need to be on the water that early ,the tide at woy woy is is 2 and a half hour later than the tide chart ,

the swell size you are quoting would wipe out most of our ocean front houses,the way the wave rider bouys work is a max high and max low of the bouy as it rise's and falls in the swell ,true wave hight is half of that ,measure from the center up or center down ,not top to bottom .all wave including sound are measured center up or down for true hight or size .

on overheads spinning or bait fishing of the rocks you should go mono ,if you are going to do any north coast spin trips and want extra line on your set up you can get 300 yards of 30 lbs power pro and top shot it with 300 mts of 15 kg penn 10 x mono,giving you 600 mts of line to stop most fish you may hook up two .the penn 10 x is used by most as it dose not let you down as much as others ,

Hi, three are avet lx , and one daiwa saltis 50 h ,they hold just under 400 mts of 15 kg mono ,the new avet raptor come with factory magged in about 5 sizes ,sx is the smallest and lx is the largest factory mageed reel they do ,you dont need to have them magged just buy factory magged reel ,they are up there in price ,what you get is a very well put togther reel that are very easy to strip down and put back to gether ,very strong ,heaps of drag (leaver drag) good casting control out of the box with the factory magged reel,all bearrings are sold local at barrings shops if you ever need them just take the old one in ,two speed is so good when you are in two a big fish ,the lx is just a little larger than the old seascape major if you have ever seen or used one ,

they are around you have to put in the hardyards when the time and conditions are right ,lost a few good fish last friday as the swell kicked , no way to get the fish out on light gear as it was not safe to get close to the water ,
