Howdyy All, Its been a while... but with computer issues, and renovations now seeming to settle ( for now ), i have found the time to sit down and catch up on 1534 posts that i have missed... ( the is gonna love me ) ..... So, with the 5 day EXTRA long weekend ahead for most of us, whats the weather going to hold? Seem's to be a decent amount of fish about from what i have read so far so i can't wait to get amongst it!! We are heading up to Forster for the 5 days camping with 5 other families so will be a blast regardless if the "BOYS" wet a line or not... Have never been there, nor has anyone that we are going with fished there. The boats are staying at home ( as i sold mine ( Nudge Nudge Huett's ) but will update later this year and we wouldn't have got all on if we had the 3 boats anyways ) So i have packed the 6", 8" and the 15" ( which should cover it all land based ) Will be fishing the beachs mainly late evening into the night and early mornings whilst the kids are asleep and the hand brakes are and gass baggin Any tips or spots would be a great help and if your heading up that way, give me a holler!! The joys of Oysters... One of my best friends parent's ownes an oyster lease up at Port Stephens ( makes for great fishing trips.. oh and appitisers... ) apart from the "tumbled washed " oysters which are smooth, i remeber 1 time his old man was bringing some up and a " rock " of oysters decided it wanted to head south back into the water before being brought into the boat.. my mates old man being who he is, and our own natrual human reaction, he decided to pull "Gillchrist" and catch the rock only to end up berlying for sharks!! Was funny at the time but his hand ended up some what similar to yours... ( i was stunned actually at the time ) Eat up mate, revenge is sweet!!! CHeeRS Antun

Still making their way up to the M4 bridge and beyond.. Give it another 2 - 4 weeks and you should start having some fun ( normally you can catch the smaller ones around the pylons unuder the M4 at this time of year ) but has been quiet i have been advised. Hoping all this rain gives it a nice flush out and stirr up! Hope to catch ya down there some time! CHeeRS Antun

Freinds of mine went up the river 2 weeks ago ( Pylons under M4 bridge ) and caught 1 in 2 hours, down the bottom on a spinner bait. ( They tried from top to weir... ) Surface lures and, bibbed lures caught ZAP ! Hope to get out on Sun myself.. CHeeRS Antun
