    New Boat Advice

    I could be looking at selling my 4.55 polycraft frontrunner for a smaller one. It's not too bad on space.

    You could try a Golf Diesel. towing capacity is 640kg Unbraked or 1200Kg braked. Just a thought Cheers Deek
  7. I bought a boat from Queensland a few years ago. We had an independent inspection done of both boat & motor. All cam up trumps. You you also get one one for peace of mind?

  10. While I'm washing the boat down with detergent and sponge, I click the hose into the sprayers and off it goes

  12. I would also setup a spray system to wash the salt off your springs and brakes. I set one up on my trailer using irrigation pipe and sprayers with a click on hose fitting.
  13. A mate on mine's father got spiked in the Hawkesbury. They rushed him to the Ambos station near the bridge and they dunked his hand into a bucket of hot water and gave him a blocker injection. His hand was sore for 3 months.

  22. Wow. Well spotted Fab1. My clutch on Golf diesel shat itself. I was driving around for 3 days with it. My wife complained of a noise and I couldn'te hear it until Monday. I thought I'd better call into my mechanic. When he took off the bottom shroud bits of the pressure plate springs had melted into the shroud and there were metal filings around the clutch housing inspection hole. He couldn't believe I could still drive it. Neither could I.
