Congrats Kelvin on your new pride and joy, I'm sure she would server you well in the future, I too totally agree with you on the impotence of a "right" prop, I've also play around with a few prob before deciding on one that I think would suite the boat and the engine, I was lucky in a sinse the dealer where I brought the boat from was more then helpful and supply me with a few different prop so I could play around with it. From the look on you little ones face, they to are ecstatic about the new toy.. can't wait until my son is old enough to accompany me on a fishing trip. Hope to see blue frog up our way . G'day Kelvin, Mate, I'm trying to tee up a date with Al B as we speak, looking at end of Feb, but it look like the Sambo has stated to do the run south, I'll keep you posted. may end up taking the boat and fallow you to the harbor to chase the king instead if I can't get my fix in WA.. G'day deadwood doyen Like you , I fish Broken bay and Pit water when even the allows, As Chirs mention, B/bay Pittwater is a lot of water to cover, my suggestion is look back one what the Raiders member have posted in regards to this area, there is allot you can learn from reading reports from fellow raiders, Keep on it and ur on the right track. PS: I to troll for kings with live Yakka and squid, only deferens , I don't have a down rigger, I get the bait down deep by using a running sinker set up, a heavy sinker then a swivel then about one and a half meter trace, troll at about 1-2 knots, have deferens Wight on two rods, that way you know how deep the fish are. it works for me ! Note to self....... don't even think about it, She Enjoys the day out, but not when it involves Boat and Syd harbour, every time she's on the harbour she gos green .. from all the wake from the boat traffic... G'day Raiders, Firstly, I'm ecstatic on what I'm sure would be the bigger social turn out in F/R history ( Admin pls correct me if i'm wrong) 100 + members and growing every day! Kingies, watch out!!
