  1. Thanks mate, I pick up 42cm yesterday Tempie railway bridge.
  2. I went to the Cook's river today with my brother. We caught some Bream, Flat Head, Taylor and to top it off a monster Trevally 58cm. Caught on a 1-3kg Nitro rod 4 pound braid 6 pound leader on a 1000 Stradic 3" grub. It was an awesome fight. I really thought I had a jew fish, never the less what a great fish. All fish were released.
  3. No probs mate, the jewies were caught in Cowan Creek and the Flatty was caught at Patonga Beach drifting. Hope that helps you mate Cheers Koolcat
  4. Hi Raiders, We ventured out to the Hawkesbury at 3am this morning with high expectations of catching that big jewie. We stared off with 5 soapies, all were released. Then I hooked something massive on my lightest outfit with a strip of yellow tail. After 5 mins into the fight it bit through the trace . That was it for the jewies for the day, we also got a few small snapper. Then we decided it was time to move and give the plastics ago. I ended up with a nice flatty, which we kept. All in all we had a good day. Cheers Koolcat
  5. Well done, looks like you boys had some fun. We will be heading out tonight to the Hawkesbury to try our luck for some jewies to. Cheers Koolcat

  10. Well guy's after taking Jewgaffers advise, we were off to a good start caught our first jewie after 10 minutes. We ended up with 5 soapies, a hammerhead on a live taylor and a few small snapper. All were released. The soapies were caught on squid. We are still trying to get that 10kg plus jewie. We will keep trying and keep you posted. Cheers Koolcat
  11. Hi Mate, I just saw your great picture of the jewies you caught. We are heading out to the Hawkesbury in 2 weeks and would really appreciate it if you could recommend any spots, as the past month we have only caught rubbish (catfish and eels)
