Sorry bout that...I wanted to target jewfish, kingfish but also taylors and bream. I was wanting a light rod but with strength so i could use it for lures but also bait fishing. And also a price around about the $150 mark. Thanks again for your help

.Hi raiders. I recenty received a Daiwa Caldia Kix 4000 as a present but i have no clue about what line i should spook it with or what rod i should get that would suit the reel. I will just be doing rockfishing so i was looking at surf rods but there are so many out there to choose from. I was looking at the brand Ugly Stick and Snyderglas and thought those ones looked quite good. Please some help!!! Thanks!!

Hi everyone. This is my first post and its not a very interesting post. I just wanted to ask the fellows out there if they had any good locations to go fishing. I don't have a boat so i go rock fishing to Avoca Beach up north. That's the only place i know and the only place that i go. Can anyone suggest some good spots for fishing? I've caught alot of Slimy Mackeral and Tailors at Avoca...so i was wanting to target some other species like Drummer, Jew Fish, Kingies. It is possible to catch these type of fish when rock fishing?
