  1. i like the idea of rod making. i wonder if any raiders has made their own rod? is it better than the standard brand rods or is it cheaper to make it yourself?
  2. :1worthy: :1worthy: congratz in taking first and 2nd place. very nice fishes!
  3. i never fished at picnic point before, but i have fished at oatley and lugarno area when i was a little kid. they were some nice bream and flatty there and i saw heard that there is a deep spot near oatley bridge where jew fish are. they are also the annoying sting rays. they area where i fish is pretty close to you so i am guessing you can eat the fish you catch from there. through out the years, i have been eating fish that i catch there and they seem to be safe to eat for me and my friends
  4. Atomic Guzzlerz Minnow with 1/16 jig is good. catches lots of bream and flatty for me

    Crustacean

Hello guys, i went to rose bay yesterday, caught myself a nice trevally. When i tried to bleed it, i saw these light orange white crustacean that looks like yabbies. there was so much in its mouth and it in stomach. I took the trevally home still, i am not sure what they are and if the trevally is still eatable or not?
  10. it depends, i have seem people catching 70cm kingie in the jetty with 8lb braid but if you are in the jetty, you can use 8lb and it is good enough if you are at the rocks, and you use braid, the line gets cut easily, but if u use mono, you have a bit more lean way. enjoy your new gear
