Don't usually have a reason to post, but....took a quick trip down to Akuna Bay this morning for a quick 45min plastic session, caught a 51cm & 43cm Tailor as well as dropping another legal one at my feet. Also landed a 43cm Jew. Fished the runout tide, and was pretty windy, tailor busting up the surface was able to sight cast for the second tailor. Really wasn't expecting much, so it was great fun on light gear. Cheers

Took the week off to spend with the kids, grabbed some bait from nth narra tackle and headed to to the lake, near the caravan park, little pickers on the prawns and no hits on my sp. Not much biting and with high tide an hour away, headed to winnererremy bay at bayview, second cast on my sp pulled up a 52cm flattie, girls were delighted, they had a paddle and a splash and off we went. Just putting it out there guys, looks like there's a good high tide on Sunday 8:15 am or so, would love some company from a more knowledgeable beach fisho. Never done it myself but have plenty of general fishing experience and my own gear(10 & 12 ft rods). Be happy to start early and anywhere from Curly to Mona Vale would be ideal.
