  6. belive me u cant go past the good ol mince meat.mix some with bread crumbs and mold around a asmall long shank hook
  7. fished cc bridge landbased last nite ,was there from 6pm till 1.30am. was usuing fresh squid and squid heads and didnt even get a bite. tried for some livies but werent around.the current was really rushing through there as of the 2 metre tide and had to use very heavey weight and with weight of squid was making casting difficult for distance. kept fishing till about 2 hours after the change from high to low.did see quite a few boats turn up about 1 hour b4 high tide, and most were still there fishing when i left.was anybody here out there last nite and how did u guys go.any will be back again shortly for another attemp to catch my first captain cook jewie cheers jay

  12. i am as i have an rdo tuesday.not to sure where to go as im restricted to land base.u think the georges river up lugarno way or cc bridge is worth a go
  13. well done mate.can i ask what beach u were fishing from
  14. well done, great catch good to see the georges firing at the moment
  15. went out again last nite to georges river again to try for some bream again. this time took my son for a fish, got there at 10pm and fished till 2pm.as the other nite the bites came on the change of the tide,my son landed 2 nice bream just over 30cms. caught another 2 more keepers and released about 10 just under sized bream. all fish were caught in pillies.while casting toward the mangroves on one go when my bait hit the water saw a big jewie splash on top of the water,i think my bait and sinker hitting the water spooked it,lots of chopper tailor about and good to see the river producing good sized bream constantly over the last few nites.. cheers jay
