  1. If you want to head south, Try Danjera or Flat rock dams out the back of Nowra they have both been stocked with bass in past years and fish reasonably well in the warmer months. as for around Sydney, as others have said, The Nepean anywhere from Menangle north also try the top end of The Georges river you might be surprised what is actually in there. I love fishing out of my Yak that much I've got to the stage I'm thinking about selling my boat. Then again that would be one less toy and that just isn't allowed. Cheers Paul
  2. Squidgy bugs always seem to work for me rigged on 1/12th heads and worked over and around weed beds on the flats, I have found this time of year if you can get a low tide around 3-4pm fish the runout tide working your way out as the water drops. The main reason for fishing the run out is if it is sunny the water has time to warm up a bit and the fish will be up on the flats sunning themselves.
  3. I went out in my Yak early yesterday morning and got 8 flatties between 38 and 45 on plastics, was having a ball until the wind came up cheers
  4. Hey Mate Yes Minnamurra is not to bad I've found fishing it on the run out is best at this time of year just go up river and work along the mangroves. As for LIW the flatties are starting to come on around Bevan Island on SPs and also a few bream if your not fishing to big. I'll keep an eye out for you as i fish both areas frequently. Cheers Paul
  5. Hey Mate If you're stripping it right back to bare ali make sure you etch prime it as if you dont the paint will just start flaking off again in about6 months (happened to me)also make sure it is the correct etch as there are 2 types one for steel and one for ally
