Great report Peter. I was at Long reef yesterday. Huge amount of activity and lots of rat Kings still. We got one good one at 50M mark drifting with lightly weight yakkas. Most people slow trolling but despite all the fish on the sounder the bite was very light. Definitely worth a shot on the weekend

Congrats. Thats an amazing sesh. We fished inside the harbour yesterday with live squid on morning high and run-out and didnt get a sniff!

What I have found works is to grab an old bike tube (thin) and wind it around the male end tight just next to the join. Get someone to hold the thick end and twist in opposite directions. You can get serious pressure on the join without damaging your rod. It worked for me after trying all the other ideas. cheers
