  1. what a catch congrats mate, best of luck with the little one.
  2. just wanted to know are the stradic ci4 in the 2500 and the 3000 exactly the same besides the amount of line they can hold? eg, same body frame size different spools? same internals? thank you guys seb
  3. i always use the double uni knot and sometimes the braid does cut threw the leader so i should just fold the braid back on it self then tie the knot as i normally do. right? and thanks guys for puttin up with my stupid answers
  4. 30lb it is and with roughly 175 metres should be plenty what about jiggin with this setup, would it work? or a bit too light? im new to jigging and i just want to have a go......
  5. so knots are the weaket link, but would the line cutting through the leader be a delema?
  6. thanks imick, so 30lb should do me with all types of fish in the harbour?
  7. im also thinkin of gettin the 30lb whiplash but..... is it true that it cuts through your leader much easier because its so thin?
  8. thank you fezza and blood knot, so 15kg-30lb sound like the way to go.... thank you guys. anyone elses input?
  9. hello guys, i recently brought my self a Shimano Tescata TSS70M, 7foot, braid line: 20-50 lb, power: Medium action: Extra Fast, jig weight: 150-200g and i also have a stradic ci4 st4000ci4f on the way. (might be getting it as a present from the missus) SSSHHHHHHHH fingers crossed summer is coming up so i got myself a new setup i want to use it for snapper and kings but also the odd jewfish, will be using it on the boat mainly inn and around the harbour. now for my question what line would be recommended for the type of fishing i want to??? i was thinking 30 or 40lb braid... would it be possible to jig with this setup as i have never done it and just want to have go
  10. by the way is it thinnner then normal braid? just looking at a daiwa catalog thats all
