i was out on saturday around garden island heaps busting up and in rose bay but we would have spent ages casting every lure i had at them even a sneaky fly tied onto a metal lure. no takes not even a bumb. very fustration but good to see some surface action agian

went to pittwater this morning very nice morning caught flatties and sole, flatties wernt of size, didnt see any surface action has there been any in the harbour recently? saw a flying fish though

what about the beaches? havent herd any reports of jews been caught

just gotta find them, went off north head the other day went to 50m 55m and 60m for a pigfish (which was retuned as i didnt know what it was untill i got home ) and got hit by leather jackets so we left, but no flathead what depts was he working?

hahahah ow well i feel a bit better now knowing it wasent just me seeamed to be alot of people heading out the heads on monday and going north towards longy COMEON SUMMER!!!

hi Radiers decided to head out this morning as wind was predicted to die right down as it did. launched from roseville and headed straight for the heads in hope for some surface action but as we went under the spit and past the 4 knot zone we were meet with hundreds of dolphins filling middle harbor. we followed them taking some video and just watching them jump for a while. was blown away by the amount of dolphins there. anyway after that headed for the heads for some surface action i dont think so... no sign of any action. trolled south head for nothing, went to north head nothing there with a bit of swell decided to go into manly area and drift some baits. not a sausage, few bites thats it, still had dolphins playing around us there.... after trying a few drifts around there headed back to roseville and stopped a fe spots on the way home only for undersize snapper but in numbers!! every drop once you found them just make me wonder wheres mum and dad?? anyone have any luck?

anyone know what time of year they go?

yeh was out on sunday and had some fun chasing the salmon just off south head for a while then after an hour they started to move real fast

Was out there yesterday only to catch small pinkis and small wrasse and bakers. Then got too rough so headed in

Where abouts off palmy were you. I went out of pitty And was hanging round Newport for a bit on for some Wrase and albatross then headed back around palmy tried to sound out the reef and wreck but no luck. Found it once and had great success but carnt find it now also have a pic of an albatross taking off will upload tonight
