I don't think many people fished Sunday with success, I was out around long reef and couldn't even sound up bait.. completely baron. The current was raging, at least we got out there though.

Seen you guys out today lost a decent fish around spot b pulled hook! lol always my luck.. Was in the 26 ft seaswirl waving hello at you both. Well done on the kings, we too decided to make a move but ended up with zero kings.

What time did you get off the water? We had a late sesh on sat after work and everyone was eager to get off the water. They were calling us crazy with the wind howling, it really wasn't bad at all. Craploads of slimies almost everywhere, we stocked up and headed towards some jewie grounds it was a very quiet night with only 1 70cm Jew and we headed home at around 12:30am. The water was flat as in the bay from around 8ish.

You don't realize just how hard they pull at that size till you finally hook and land one. They really get the arms pumping

I remember back in 2009 I caught my first kingy came in at 78cm I was stoked. I then went and purchased a saltiga 6500 with a matching saltiga rod. First trip out using my New gear I landed this beast! Went 139cm weighed in at 20kg bled on the butchers scale at work. Ever since then I have not looked back! Hope to land one again some day. Only difference is the next one is going back in the drink to fight another day. Well done on the fish you have caught man, catching one is something but being consistent is a whole different ball game!

How was it out there weather wise. I was seriously contemplating going down to longy but we had a newcomer onboard. Wouldn't want to get him sick the first time on a boat

Went out last night to capt cook bridge. Very quiet. Amazing the difference from 1 day to another. Still can't work these Jews out. We also had a live pike out too.

Yesterday the fish were in shutdown mode. Managed 9 squid in less in 30 mins in botany. Headed to some marks and downrigged the live squid. Plenty of bait around no kings. Spotted afew arches but they weren't interested in live squid. Oh well having callamari rings tonight lol

We got blown away from some good sized kings on live squid yesterday. On a close by reef outside the bay. They are there just a matter of stopping them.
