  1. I havent had many kings smash my mack backs, mainly bonnies...they got nuts for them!!! Iv found the bright pink to be extremely effective, got 5 bonnies in 5 casts the other week when no one was hooking up on chromes
  2. Hi Raiders, Iv been trying to keep bonnies alive in a inflatable kids wading pool but with more than one in there they die very quick. Iv found a rigid wall pool but its volume is roughly 750L (bigger than i can fill with a 20L bucket) Iv been researching battery powered pumps but not really sure what to get. Can any LBG's out there help me out with some info to point me in the right direction Cheers James
  3. Hey guys im wondering if anyone has run into any leadies around the coast recently. iv been having success with the kings but i would like to know if the speedsters are starting to show up, the water is looking better by the day (except for this week of course ) thanks in advance for any info
  4. Thanks for the advice. I was just a bit unsure about the quality of Pflueger reels. But they seem pretty good for the $$$
  5. Looking mainly to target flathead and probably looking around a 2000. Im leaning towards the daiwa but not really certain. The rod I have been looking at is pflueger trion 2-4kg. Nice and light, and it loads up well
  6. Hey guys With chrissie rapidly approaching my gf asked what I wanted.well my eyes lit up, as I really need a soft plastic combo.iv been looking at shimano stradic or daiwa Tierra. But then I saw positive things on pflueger president. Which would be the best pick? And any suggestions on rods to go?
  7. nice work mate. the young fella couldnt be happier. where were you fishing?
  8. Hey guys first post, So during my procrastination from Uni I'm looking for some rods. Iv got a daiwa regal pro 4000 and an okuma epix eb 80. Just wondering what type of rod would suit? Id be using the daiwa for general boat stuff, catching tailor, flathead and maybe small jewies. The okuma I'd be using offshore for mainly kingies (it's doubling as my surf reel) Any help would be good
