is there a mobile marine mechanich sort of thing that will come and inspect boats ?

yeah sorry i should explain, I am looking at getting a second hand bass boat. The boat will likley have a 115-150 hp on it and predominantly be two stroke. looing at 2005 and latter. Just trying to get a worst case scenario as to how much it might cost me if the outboard is a dud.

ok so mid next year i am looking to get a bream/bass boat and i am confused as to what flavour. I want a 17-18 ft, 4-5 people, 115-150 and a tournie layout ie rod lockers and livewell under deck storage etc. i mainly fish bream and bass with the ocasionall muck around flathead with the kids. i am not interested in offshore snapper shananigans or the like.....not that there is anything wrong with that. i have up to 40k and am thinking.... stratos 275 xl skeeter sx 180-190 evan a second hand zx What other options are out there what would you guys recomend anyone got pics of there set up thanks guys

i have too samaki rods and cant fault them i would recomend them too any one.

i think it will be ok as i will be building the cast deck above the existing floor so will not be interfering with any of the underfloor structure.

First time poster long time lurker, I plan to buy a stacer 529 northen fisher and do some deckwork and put a elec bow mount on it. This will hopfully give me a boat that can do both the bream comps and some light offshore and even take the family out for a spin. These are the basic plans i have come up with so far and am looking for any advice that you the experianced may have. I am allready thinking i will put the max HP out board (80) on it to deal with the extra weight but any thing else you guys may come up with will be appreciated. Cheers Dan
