Hello folks, Long time reader although this is my first report. It was a great day off Sydney aboard ‘Unwind’ – Thanks gentlemen. To cut a long story short we hooked up to a giant cuttlefish whilst jigging. Im a man of few words, I’ll let the picture below do the explaining. Another minute detail, we also bagged out on kingies – after sorting through 30 odd fish. Hats off to the crew. Cheers.

Hello Folks, After being inspired by the XOS kingie post went out for a bash. We downrigged, jigged, popped & flicked ... for a ZERO Plently of livies that were released to fight another day. Thats why its called fishing and not catching ... Yakkaa

Folks, You are spending too much time reading fourms and too much money in the tackle store. Try spending spending more time on the water and you might actually land that hood. Yakkaa

was the GPS functional ? did you have any issues with it? also is there a possibilty to change the settings ? did it display the coast line ?

Hello - I am looking at purchasing a humminbird 788 and it seems i can get it for alot cheeper overseas .. any thoughts or recommendations?

I just wanted to voice my concern ... I recently purchased a secondhand boat. I have had boats for quite some time and never made an insurance claim. My new does not fit in my garage and subsequently is left is the in the driveway. 3 days after I purchased boat the fish finder/GPS, marine radio and stereo go missing. The best part about all of this is I have yet put the boat in water!!!! I lodged a claim with the insurance company, and they have requested proof of purchase. How am I supposed to show proof of purchase of these items if they came fitted on the boat ... That the previous owner had imported from the states. This has been a nightmare and I just want it sorted out. They said photos isn't good enough .... I am reluctant to mention who the insurance company is at this stage but I can assure you if they don't take care of this I'm going to voice my pinion on every fishing forums... Any ideas would be greatly appreciated ... The scary thing is I bet most of us are covered by these guys.....

no its not either of them .. it was over 60cms had to be 4-5 kgs

Hello Raiders, Ive been searching through the old posts for a while and havent been able to come across what i was looking for. This was answered quite some time ago. Big eyes fat head big eyes, golden brown leather like skin covered in slime.. it had massive teeth and made grunted sounds. alomst looked like a huge puffa fish. hooked one up whilst fishing for jews at bar point. If my memory serve me correctly the name included toad ? Thank you in advanced

Hello Fellow Angler, Im in strugle town at the moment .. having a real hard time locating Yakkas ! I dock off at drummonye and worked my way up to rose bay ... and NOTHING ! I have a pretty basic sounder which doesnt make things any easier. any hints for this newbie ?
