  1. Hi swordfisherman Had some rain last night and early this morning ... was still drizzling when I left home on way to work 5.30am I'm located on the Central Coast (Bateau Bay area) and it was still wet at Gosford early this morning. Don't know about brisbane waters area .... but still need more rain though!
  2. Thank you all for taking your time to reply to me on your opinions. It is really good to have all this information given to us - and it really really really does help. Really sorry it came to the topic being closed at the end - but it is amazing to see there are a lot of passionate fishos out there and it is important to have passionate fishos in fishing community expressing their opinions. Once again, we are really looking forward to giving both the Poly and Tinnie a test ride and fingers crossed it will be the most easiest decision we will ever have to make! For sure, I will post pixs of new boat soon one day! Have a great week - should be a lot of biting after some of the rain we've had! Timmy
  3. Hi all, I am posting this for my dad who will be moving up the Central Coast soon this year. For the last 6 months he has been looking around for a new boat to get an idea what boat brand and style he wants to buy. Came down to either Quintrex or Stacer 4.2 open boat .... until recently been hearing a bit how good the Poly is and now he wants to know more about Poly and anyone who has had it for a while. Any of you had a tinnie and then bought a Poly? Which one were you happier with & why? Really hope any fishos out there that have had experience with Poly boats can help us out to get a better idea. Thanks guys - hope to hear from one of you
  4. That is awesome guys! The information you have given me is valuable and we are jumping out of our skin for the weekend to come. Just can't bloody wait. For sure, will post photos
  5. To those who are keen on purchasing a portable fish finder .... I found this website that are selling them for a good price of $99, click link here: http://www.dealsdirect.com.au/cart.php?m=p...t_detail&p=1615 I don't know if the quality is good or what but thought some of the fishos might be interested to know about the price they are selling for (which seems good). Cheers Timmy
