hey guys was down the boat ramp to day and the cops are at the ramp waveing his hands at me as i was getting close to the ramp ...he yells out that the ramp was closed ....some guy was puteing his boat in and left the motor running ,,,,, car was a 2007 holden and yes it went in ...all the way water was over the roof ,,,,,,,, waited about 1 hour till the tow truck draged it out....oh the boat ramp was the one at the end of burwood road,,,,,,

i have had this to my motor allso ..try pushing the motor NOT THE STEERING WHEEL.....if you carnt do it your self get a mate to help two big guys will move it ..... then grease up the sharft and move the motor a few times more it will get easyer ,,,,, and keep the grease fresh i grease my sharft after every trip only takes a secend .......albert

yes i have used a spot light on other boats , they work ok .... but they tend to blind other boaters on the water when you are face to face with them ,,,,i find the fog light is much better and when the fog rolls in it cuts the fog and can see much better..i have a 150w fog light on the frount of the boat verry handy for night can still see in to the water ,,,,,,,

i use a large yellow fog light works verry well and wont blind other boaters on the water ....

hi soapie ,i own a stessco hassar 480 plate alloy boat ...have owned a few different boats over the years i find the stessco boat i have is a great boat ,,tuff and strong ,it handles all condishions verry well...when it comes to stessco , i have found them to be hard to deal with...have sent them emails and i dont get any back ,,,there web site is not up todate and there phone number has changed from what the web site says it is ...,,the one thing i did not like was the POSITIVE FLOTATION,,,,,when i pulled up the floor the positive flotation was some offcuts of foam in plasic bags,,,very cheap ...over all the finish of the boat is ok, i think you will be happy with the rv420 looks like a nice boat but then they all look nice when they are new,, ,,pm me if you want to come out for a fish on the stessco .....albert

being a man of excesive weight , the bigger the boat the better it will be ,my self i weigh 121 kg and when you get 2 men standing on one side of a smaller boat it is verry unstable,,i have a stessco 4.8mt and is verry stable with me and another man on the same side ...i suggest that he takes what ever boat he likes out on the water first so he knows it will do the job

thanks for the kind words ross ,i must say that every time i go fishing with a fishraider they ALLWAYS seem to catch more and bigger fish than me ....any way we had a good day out looking forword to meeting and fishing with more fishraiders,,,so if you see a post in the forums ..when i have time to go fishing and im looking for a driver /decky stick your hand up ,,you will have a good time ,,,and may even catch more fish than me,,,,,
