  2. Pay a small fortune for a decent one nowadays, no change out of $10 or $12k that's for sure. That's if you can find one that's not full of rust. Love the HQ have had a couple of good ones over the years, Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. You could buy private a reasonably nice early - mid 2000's Mazda 6 for something around that, my boy recently bought a 2005 Mazda 6 luxury sports with 130000 geniune kilometres for $7k, nice car leather interior and sunroof. Just make sure you spend your $40 doing your full revs checks , I caught one fella out with a too good to be true deal, speedo was wound back 100 000ks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. Be careful buying cars from Queensland . Bit of a scam going on up there where repairable write offs are bought from nsw repaired in QLD and registered. If youre unlucky enough to buy one of these you will not be able to register in NSW. In NSW a write off is a write off. You'll incur stamp duty as well $32 + 2 or3% of the sale price or market value whichever is greatest. Make sure you do a full revs check (Veda full report) $40 could save you thousands. Just recently I was looking to buy a car did the relevant inquiries found that it had a 100 000 wind back full report should tell you if the car has been written off Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. mThe superb fairy wren pictured (with blue plumage) is a male of breeding age, as juveniles they look pretty much the same as the females, which are predominately browny, grey. The only thing that really varies between breeding males is the amount of black plumage they carry. Superb little bird. Wrens carrying different colours are definitely different species Good pics!! battery

Depends where you are south west batteries at Narellan south western Sydney are usually very reasonable priced can buy on-line too I think. I have no affiliation with them but have bought numerous batteries from them, sometimes up to one hundred bucks cheaper than the more well known retailers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Doesn't cost a great deal more for GPS today better to have it, you could probably live without in in an estuary but it's great for relocating underwater structure and stuff (saves time) and if you move to a lake, bay or harbour situation it gains greater relevance Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I've got a 2006 40hp Mariner, and it runs by far the best on 95 (have tried 98 too)idles a little smoother. Doesn't seem to run quite as well on the 98 at higher revs, don't ask me why I haven't a clue. I only buy from BP/Shell or Caltex, never independent especially if I buy regular unleaded.
  23. Dad don't eat fish, and I want a turn to catch it! And her babies. Hopefully we will receive some good fishing karma in return.
  24. Took my old boy out fishing, didn't catch a thing but he jagged an 85cm + flattie. Photo is ordinary given we wanted to get her back in the water quickly it was dark and I only had the phone. Funny story the old boy pulled her up and started cursing the stingray he'd just caught, I looked over the side and said it a flattie you dill, 'bulldust' was the reply ( sanitized version) I said no bull. He was stoked, the biggest fish he's caught in his 65 years.
  25. I was thinking about a TK3G I have one for another application and it is awesome just didn't know which to get for the bait situation. Looking to target the odd jewie/kingie and this a bit bigger than your average flatty or bream. Thx for your replies. Appreciate the advice
