thanks mate for the reply last night i put new line on my reel, 8lb fireline with 10lb fluorocarbon leader, shall be doing some fishing this weekend, trying out some soft plastic as well as bait thanks for the info guys cheers

thanks guys i just bought 8lb fireline and 10lb vanish as leader and will be spooling these new line onto my reel tonight shall be hitting some of those fishing spot this weekend cheers

cool, the reel i have only came with 1 spool, ill check to see if a 2nd spool can be purchased cheers

Hey guys Just been reading through the forum and I was wondering if you guys have multiple reels all with different line for different type of fishing or do you only have 2-3 reels and swap over the line when you need to change? If the latter, how do you go about taking the line off the current spool and storing it? Cheers

I am fairly new to fishing and wanted some help setting up my rig At the moment, what i do is this: sinker > swivel > 40cm line > hook I know this isnt the most effective rig to catch fish so am wondering if you guys can point me in the right direction. I am just casting from rocks, trying to catch anything Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Hello guys, first time poster here! I am very new to fishing, have only done some boring rock fishing catching small breams with little success. I want to ask if there were any good places around 1hour drive from Bankstown NSW 2200. Not really after anything big or monstrous, but just to be able to cast a line, relax with a few mates and perhaps get a few nibble. Also if you could list what kind of tackle i would need that would be awesome. Thanks!
