Headed out yesterday morning from Tunks Pk at the leisurely time of 8.30am. Motored straight outside as the seas were surprisingly good and not too much wind. Found it quite sheltered at Bluefish and not another boat in sight!!
Berleyed up and sent down some prawns and pillies. Not long to wait before they started. A lot of fun on light tackle - 6lb braid - they certainly gave a gooi account of themselves. Boated 25, released the last couple as we had enough for a couple of good feeds. Most were in the 35-40cm range. Also the usual crap fish - Sgt Baker, wrasse, red rock cod, parrot fish etc
Had a substantial fish meal last night with a couple of Lime, coriander and a bit of chilli - sensational.
cheers,
Bloo
