caught my first fish on sps and it was a legal size flonder just 26cms, caught using nuclear chicken

best way to catch cuttlefish is i know so far from my experience is to jig really slow with just two twitches and just jig for half second twice and leave it for 30 seconds, i have caught heaps of cuttlefish from this trick and i am yet to open my squid account and i m gonna do it soon,

thanks greg for your help, i think i got the idea how you rig it up, its just open the hood flip it over the gut side, (take out the beak ?) and hook it up using two hooks, correct me if i am wrong, what would be target species ??? on a cuttlefish all help really appreciated thanks again

i would say its not a long tom, first reason that it doesnt have that really long beak, second the face of long tom looks kinda square, i caught around 20 longtoms in the harbour which were all different sizes, had great fun on light gear, the longest one was 1.2m

hey greg, everytime i go for squidding i end up catching cuttlefish, and i never use it as a bait, so how do i hook it, do i need to take the bone out of the hood, ? last time i hooked it up alive and it died in 10 min, and for jews do you use sinkers that put the bait all the way to thee bottom ? any help would be appriciated cheers
