  4. you just follow it around to the end pretty much and go off the rocks where you see a few spots you can pull your car into and there is a blue square sign and a bench seat ... thats where i got the jewy last week you cant access the little wharf there as its blocked off with a barbed wire gate
  5. lol yeah its the place to be ... an old guy rocked up and said they get jews there up to 20kg sometimes at night
  6. nah not breakwall ... on the opposite side of the water . the street is christy drive go there and follow it around till u see a blue sign with a seat and a few parking spots ... It was right there , good spot
  7. u should just go port kembla ... less people and I got a Jewy there on thursday at 10am on a squid head with a big sinker I havent got much from windang before , just a big salmon once
  8. Hey guys my names Michael. 27 from south west sydney area , Im a train driver and love my job cause i get alot of time off being shift work so i get to go fishing alot ... a few times a week usually. I dont have a boat so all land based for me , hopefully Ill get a boat once I buy a house in 2 - 3 months ... Gotta get priorities right Already found a tonne of useful info so far . I love fishing , what can i say !! ' all the best guys
  9. I went a few days ago to Port Kembla just off the rocks at the coal terminal and got a Jewie at 10am which i thought was an odd time ? All i used was my main line (30LB) through a large sinker ( so the sinker can move up and down the line freely) a wire leader with snap swivel tied straight on about 30cm length and a size 4/0 suicide hook had a squid head on and just left it sitting on the bottom for a few minutes and bang rod almost snapped in half (only using cheap gear) and it was away .... was a good fight and a tough fish Had never caught one before so was exciting none the less for an amateur fisherman , guessing it was about 55cm or so
  10. went there today and got a 65cm Jewy at 10am which was a weird time also a 60cm salmon and a small snapper and some bream ... good day out and good spot if you can find it
