i caught one just before tom uglys on the weekend in just half a metre of water with a peeled prawn and it was 42 cm , i had just casted it in the water as my line started peeling.

went fishing last saturday morning with my inlaw on the hunt for snapper,left at 6am,by 11am we bagged out,we caught over 14 snappers most ranging around 3.5 kilos to 4.2 kilos,caught on sp,s ,squid,whiting and pillies. will send pics to penguin to put up for me as im having troubles with my cmptr

no probs,thanks a lot guys for the b day wishes,getting ready to go to canada this coming week as my wife is regnant and is due early next month,wow im going to be a father, ,might do some fishing over there if i get a chance.

nice feed.we went out to the bay on saturday arvo ,not much around,water temp was low,tried tom uglys,we scored a 80cm flattie and released it and scored a few more around the 60cm mark they were caught around 10pm

well done penguin on catching a great amount of dollies,surely would have been fun,esp if you were using light gear.

it was quite slow,there were a lot yakkas busting up everywhere in the morning. we caught around 7 big trevallys,one keeper flathead and about 20 whitings,most of them were red spot,we also caught one keeper bream,many undersize which we threw back. main aim was flatties.

thanks for the compliments. it was very fat indeed.the bream was not caught on a soft plastic. all the other fish caught was. the bream was caught on a half pillie.

went out to spot x yesterday with a mate for a flick and landed a nice black bream and a few rat kings that we threw back,didnt bother taking picks of them as well as some flatties,but took a pic of the bream.

well done penguin on getting a good result esp bill on landing a very good king on light gear. we also had kings busting up next to our boat,we managed to hook up but lost it on a sp. i could see that they were big kings by the size of their tales flapping out of the water.
