Hey Raiders Looking to upgrade to a new Sounder/gps unit suited to game fishing/deep dropping and jigging. Whats the best unit (value for money) also quality. And what type/brand of transducer to suit also. hoping to spend under or around the $2500 mark cheers in advance

Yea it was lost in this video, you can hear the leader pop when the cam is underwater. Had it boat side a few times and would have been released anyway, also caught a smaller model blue (92 kg) the day before. So wasn't fussed about popping it at the boat.

cheers for the reply's i have also sourced a elite5 dsi for $370 structure scan does sounds good but for that much of a added cost, im not sure if its worth while. at that price it seems to be the better option. The one thing im worried about is i have have heard a few people say that with the dsi its very hard to see bait and fish. im mainly targeting kings so structure is a major part but bait also.

Hello all im looking at purchasing a new sounder and have been looking at the elite 5 dsi or the hds 5. whats the general consensus on these units. i mainly fish the harbour and along the heads, any sort of info would be greatly appreciated. cheers

Hello all I'm new to fish raider and am just learning how to use it, I have been over in Europe for the last year and am keen to get back into some fishing. I am keen to get out on a boat to do any sort of fishing and of course will chip in for fuel costs and help cleaning and launching of the boat. I have all my own gear, boat license and experience, and am available most times day and night as i'm currently on holidays. I'm also looking to get in the fishing industry if any one is looking or knows some one who is. cheers
