Thanks for the reply guys. Dave, Its a quintrex tinny. The winch is the factory fitted 5:1. Can be bloody hard work. I'm a shift worker so get to fish during the week when mates have to work LOL. Thankfully I like my own company. Im leaning towards the Electric Superwinch 315.. abit more pricey than the fleabay stuff but less chance of failing at the ramp.......Not overly fussed about budget as it will come down to me fishing or not..........Cheers everyone..tight lines..

Hi all. A abit of a dilemma at the moment. Due to age and physical abilities I'm having difficulties getting my 4.7 runabout on the trailer with the current cheap factory fitted winch. ....So the wife has given me the go ahead to upgrade to something that will work....... So Question.......Should I go electric or multi-speed manual? and if so could you guys recommend what works and what to avoid.. thanks in advance.... Ray
