Howdy Raiders
sunday morning hit off at 6 from the whalf with the new key west for the very first time took her for her maiden voyage
Started out with a run down the middle of the bay and figured that at 70kph you cant wear a hat after we plucked my hat out of the water we headed to the can's to see if any rats where home but no luck. then we wandered over to the flathead ground's and pulled up a good feed of flatheads using the good old nuclar chicken's. Then decided to look for a bit of top water action , on finding a bunch of seagulls making eradic movments along the front of brighton beach there was schools of bonnie's tailor salmon trevs and some hoodlom kings smashing a big school of whitebait
as soon as we pull up next to the school the white bait try to hide under the boat and the action is on
with super ligth bream rods we where in trouble soon enough
and when we figured that the bigger lure would get smakked by the bigger kings we popped around 60.00 worth of lures on them the little bream rods would just not hold them
any how we got a great feed and spent the afternoon cleaning the boat and then the fish
bonnie fish cocktails and flathead fillets on the bbq
and its all most the weekend again
