My mates still in NZ but I thought I should post this. He went out on a charter today and spent the whole time bringing this bad boy in id say. Gotta be some type of record? it went 40kg. Will get some more details.

We were at longnose point and when the wind picked up headed over to clareville in the moorings.

Went out late this morning for a quick look, no surface action what so ever in pittwater, the system is still all over the shop from all the fresh im guessing. Went for a downrig and managed a couple of kings, saw a heap more and lost a few too. My mate got the best of the day with the fish going just over 70.

Ive never really fished up there this time of year so im not sure what you can catch in the harbour, but head to shoal bay around the corner and chase barra in the snags. Might wanna take a raincoat too for this time of year.
