  1. Sorry @PaddyT, not sure why either ... I quoted @XD351 ... it somehow included that he had quoted you... maybe its my fat fingers on the iphone screen. Cheers Zoran
  2. Once a year and takes 5 min a jacket to do - too easy ! The 4 Marlin jackets I had previously required to be inflated and left inflated for 24hrs then checked for leaks. So not a 5min job in my experience. It may have been specific to that model jacket but I recall marlin website saying the same for their products. cheers Zoran
  3. I’m back to the foam as well. cheers Zoran
  4. Smile says it all ... congratulations and Merry Christmas ! Cheers Zoran
  5. Great catch mate ... a tasty feed indeed. Back to basics can be so much fun - and more relaxing - there is a lot less cleanup and washdown afterwards for sure. +1 re inspectors. Cheers Zoran
  6. Merry Christmas everyone and heres to a much better 2021 ! Thanks for all the friendship and camaraderie on here, and a big shout out to the FR staff - top job guys and gals. Cheers Zoran

Well done Yowie .... very nice feed there. Just imagine how much better the day would have been with a few SPs on the hooks ... eh ? 🤣😁🤣 Cheers Zoran
  8. Awesome fish Jeff. Can only dream of landing such a beauty .... but one day, just maybe !!! Cheers Zoran
  9. I have a haines 635 (that used to have a 225) .... and I have always had to dunk my axles and wheel hubs. Whether I drive on or use the cordless drill electric or hand wind .... were you using a steep ramp?? The trailer has been going strong since 2001... I have changed the original brake rotors and hubs just two weeks ago. Still run original springs. Bearings are changed around the 5yr mark - whether they're noisy or not. I run bearing buddies and keep them correctly loaded with grease. Wash the trailer down with lots of fresh water after each salt dunking. Spray the disc rotors, hubs with WD40. Spray the springs with RP7 or similar. Cheers Zoran Original post re cordless electric -
  10. Thanks.... we took the raider spirit so much to heart that we co-wrote the report 😂 cheers Zoran
  11. Thanks @Fab1 much appreciated. Hope you are well. Cheers Zoran
  12. 👍 well done. You’ll have quite a few beer chats over that flattie ! Awesome. .. and +1 on comments re Stewie and Donna. cheers Zoran
  13. Not this time mate. We couldn’t see anything on the sounder so didn’t bother breaking out the knife jigs. cheers Zoran
  14. Dieter must be catching up on work - think he jigged a day judging by the amount of messages he was getting on his phone on the water. Yup we did try live bait - its in the last few min of the video - no takers at 15m, 30m, 80m and bottom. Tried SPs and metal slices as well. No dollies to be seen on this day unlike the Thursday I had a few weeks back with Wayno on board. Cheers Zoran
  15. Thanks Sam ! Maybe we'll finally get that tag team session offshore! Cheers Zoran
  16. Ok everyone, I've changed my mind, when I catch my YFT, I'm inviting @kingie chaser to come share it and teach me to cook it (hopefully he will be on the boat at time of capture too) ! Cheers Zoran
  17. I have a rule .... gotta catch it to cook it ! So will post when I eventually get that YFT that has my name on it. Over to you Adrian ( @kingie chaser) 👨‍🍳 Cheers Zoran PS - BTW ... glass of 🍷 on the side and I'd have no trouble with what you served 😁 !!!!
  18. Actually BAZ hats off mate.... what an awesome way to say it anyway ... by quoting Sam !! 🤣 Cheers Zoran
  19. Top stuff Wazza! I know there’s been a lot going on that has kept you occupied. Glad you are back on the water. cheers Zoran
  20. Champion report from two Champion raiders ! ... so happy for you guys to pull the rabbit out of the hat ! I think just one correction to that post ... don't think its a YF Tuna.... given scratchie caught it, its gotta be a YF Snapper ! Congrats ... the smiles say it all. Cheers Zoran
  21. Cool .... 😎 .... leaves more for me ! Cheers Zoran
  22. Thanks @Yowie. Yup cod are poor man's lobster if cooked right - think we'll crispy fry this one, haven't decided as yet. I swear by SPs on ocean flatties - I make sure to use fully white or mostly white minnow shapes. Curl grub and other shapes have not worked for me. Could be a locality thing... go figure! Where I fish, we have caught quite a few small octopus as by catch, and one of the flatties threw up a white occy leg... so perhaps the long white SP simulates and occy. Anyway, it works on my boat ! Cheers Zoran
  23. Looks the goods... hope the prop is a quick fit and you're out on the briny. Cheers Zoran
  24. Top write up and report. Cheers Zoran
