Very entertaining read BN and lots of sage advice already given !! My only advice is to do what I have done, stick an old copy of a UBD or Gregory's under the drivers seat. Well I've heard of acid rain .... but..... !!!!

I was looking into this a few years back for the Haines ... you may get some inspiration from this old post of mine. To Noel's point, whichever way you go, you will have to do something with the bow rail to allow deploying and stowing the leccy. I was very intrigued with the Cruise Craft approach where they modified the bow rail and incorporated it into making a platform for the electric. I had some sketches and was at the stage of getting a quite from a local s/s fabricator when the good wife and I decided to upgrade the boat. Best of luck with it. Cheers Zoran

Tough day but you got out on the water ... happy days!. The multiple Maritime inspection thing happened to me once launching with the family at Ermo - just motored out from ramp to be stopped for full inspection - show a life jacket for everyone on board, torch, flares, etc etc. Then stopped at middle harbour and once again offshore. It was mid week .. and I guess there were fewer rec vessels about ... and each of the martime guys on patrol had to "show" some activity on their daily report. We all had a bit of a laugh about it. Thanks Jon ... we are pretty well sorted out now on Maria's "reaction" ... she has to stay away from Benzoyl Peroxide ! ... the epi is still something we are keeping in mind but so far the doctors have not advised it as necessary or essential 🤔.
