Unfortunately with Squidding patience is needed. Can be very very very very frustrating. Just think that you need to make the jig look like a prawn swimming. There are lots of nights we get donuts. Thanks sgt Bundy... I find best is retrieving the jig really slow. Let it sink again and give it a gentle lift. Try and keep pressure on the line. What bait were you using when fishing on the beach? Sent from my GT-I9305T using Tapatalk

Hi Raiders long time reader first time reporting . When for a squid last Friday night with my brother . We arrived 30 min before high and ended up with two good calamari and a good bait size squid. They were caught with pink yozuri jigs. Had to work for them though. Been under the pump with work was really nice to get out of the house and also away from the mrs Haha Thinking of heading up to Newport Beach on the weekend. Maybe try chase jew or some Taylor with the squid that we caught. Has anybody been fishing around the Northern beaches of late? James Sorry no pictures wasn't planning on writing report... Hi Guys Long time reader, putting up first time post. Just wondering if anybody has some tips for big Mulloway of Northern Sydney Beaches ? I am done most of my Jew fishing in the Parramatta River over the years. Always here reports of massive jewfish off the beaches. Is there a certain tide or time ? That works better than others ... Or if yakkas are better than fresh squid because of all th peckers ? Any tips would be really appricated ...... Thanks
