Good session Pete! Sounds like a cracker of a day!

Been fishing inshore reefs for a while and am looking at venturing out further to chase some bigger stuff, plus have a couple trips planned on the mid north coast this summer. Hoping to get some feed back on what SST Charts everyone is using. Was looking at RIP charts at $99 but it's US based. They look to have some good functions. Are there charts more tailored towards Australia or does it just depend on what Satalite images are available?

That's the first bay just inside North Head, just watch where you fish over there cause from memory there is a protected area for the ferry penguins. Been a fair few years since I fished there. Thanks for the info from the Telie.

Well done on the Flattie mate, and a Jewie/Hairtail, a Hawkesbury trifecta!! There are a few Hairtail around. I got my first one Sat. night not far from Juno just after dark on a live yakka, it went 110cm's, freaky lookin things!

Keep plugging away mate, it will come. All those zeros we get make the day that it comes even more worth while!
